Chesapeake Virginia’s
First Brewery
In 2015 they opened Chesapeake’s first brewery. The brewery’s namesake comes from Shawn’s 1955 Chevy panel truck, affectionately named “Big Ugly”. The space was designed with exposed equipment, so guests know they are in a working brewery.
The menu has expanded from 4 beers on opening day to over 20 today, with a large selection of beers available to take home in 16oz cans and crowlers. As well as multiple Big Bold Barrel Aged Beer releases throughout the year. Many of these brews have won awards locally, in the state, and nationally.
